5D4N Hong Kong Day 3

11:28 pm

First stop: dim sum icon aka gudetama cafe for brunch! Reached at around 1130am & waited for 30 mins before it was finally our turn.

So Glad we came before 12 cause after that the queue just got longer & longer.
So Anws they serve normal & gudetama dim sum so we ordered both.

Cheesy tart ($39 hkd for 2) was very moist & soft but a little too cheesy for me. Kong felt that it was okay though.
 Bowl's too cute!
Gudetama chocolate bun ($49 hkd for 2) was to die for cause it's simply too adorable!!! I managed to squeeze the "shit" out of the butt hehehe. Kong wasn't so lucky as his somehow came out in the front hahaha! #fail

#foodporn?

The fried bun with condensed milk (bottom right) was disappointing as it was just a fried bun with no fillings sitting on top a wangwang xue bing #bohua for $39 hkd.

Gudetama burger ($59 hkd) was not bad!

Marshmallow rabbits was a little disappointing for us as we didn't like the coconut taste. I liked the Super soft texture of the rabbit tho, really like marshmallow!

Chee Cheong fun with Springroll inside ($39 hkd) was yummy but as it was the last to arrive, we were already quite full and didn't manage to finish it.
Total bill: $333 hkd ($30 service charge)

Gave us a $30 voucher to use at the shop opposite it but only applicable to the clothes & not the cute gudetama desserts there but the cheapest shirt was $199 hkd so we gave it a miss.

Next stop: Victoria peak tram

Queue was freaking Long as it was a Saturday. It became even longer shortly after we joined. To emphasise how bad the queue was, it stretched to across the street! Imagine that :/

Ohya, I think some guys tried to cut the Q opposite the street but failed. Cause only people who are nearing the pedestrian crossing would be given a card each to pass back to the staff when you cross the road.

Anws, thankfully we managed to get seats on the tram as it was moving up the slope at a really steep angle! (watch my snap story below) Finally reached the peak & it was chilly and windy. Walked around the peak mall and saw the madame tussards wax museum but gave it a miss since we were not fans of HK stars.

We also didn't visit the paid viewing roof top but went to the free one instead just opposite the peak main shopping mall called the peak galleria. It wasn't as high as the paying one but the view was good enough for us.

Mountain view
City view

Spotted a trick eye museum on the same floor so do drop by if you're interested.
Actually nothing much we did at the peak besides admiring the scenery & eating cause our legs were too sore from queuing the past few days. So we made our way down before dark  and as expected, a horrible Q was waiting for us.
So glad that kong offered to Q for us as the wind was merciless and we only had a pathetic cardigan to share. So i gave it to him while i went indoors to wait.
Remember to bring a decent jacket guys.

Otw back to the train station

Next stop: causeway bay for dinner & shopping

Ate at a random place called Se wong yee restaurant
My chicken rice which was not bad & kong's charsiew rice which was so yummy!

Visited forever21, hollister & a few other random brands but only got stuff from f21. Our legs gave way so we decided to head to Yee shun milk company for desserts and a rest.
Tried the original flavour steamed milk pudding & i liked it :)

That's all for day 3. Snapchat story below (idk why photos appear as grey screens sobs)
