💦 Austin Heights Water & Adventure Park ( Johor Baru ) 💦

11:01 am

Bored of Adventure Cove & Wild Wild Wet? Well, good news! There's a pretty new water & adventure park in Jb that's only about 20+ mins drive from woodlands checkpoint. You guys should totally check it out if you've not heard of it!

Austin Heights consists of a waterpark, high elements, skating rink, trampoline park & a mini drifting go-kart area. A one-stop place for all the fun stuff 👍🏻

We headed in on a weekend but it felt like a weekday. Pretty quiet probably cause the price is quite steep for the locals & not many Singaporeans know of this place...YET.

We initially planned to go for the combo (waterpark + high elements) but reached too late so we just went with waterpark. While entering, we were reminded that it was a one-time admission (no re-entry), so please take note guys.

Proceeded to deposit our barang in the lockers & as seen in the pic, it runs on the same interface as USS' lockers. Goodbye to coin-operated lockers which I hate. With this, you can keep opening your lockers & have it to yourself the whole day.

Rental for small lockers at Rm20/day (enough for 2-3pax) & larger lockers at rm40/day.
👉🏾 Only accepts notes & NO CHANGE given👈🏾

First stop: lazy river 😁

I love how the lazy river links you to every ride so you can just float (& not walk) to your destination. Made for lazy person like me hehe. Also, you can hang out at the exit of the rides to laugh at people who capsize at the end of their ride 😜

Oh & I spotted a pokemon, Look 👇🏿

I ran out of pokeballs tho...

Kong on the supersurf. No queue at all = shiok! Actually there was no queue for most rides 👍🏻
Btw, my phone was strapped to me but had to take it out for this ride. Luckily for all other rides, the staff didn't restrict me from carrying it down & filming.

We call this the toilet bowl ride👇🏿🚽
Once was enough cause it made us too giddy 🌀

The usual bucket fall

Next up: Yellow wall - The most thrilling & fun ride! Went on it 3x cause I cldn't get enough of the adrenaline 😝  It's very similar to Waterbom Bali's boomerang ride.

G-force alley (R) & Uphill battle (L)
G-force was the second best ride & I went twice

Wave pool
This was our last stop but dang it, the last wave was already over & we sat there waiting for 10 mins like fools 😅

Washed up & had some popcorn chicken as snacks

Here's us all clean and ready to try out drifting

The karting track with overhanging high-e

A staff came and gave us instructions, letting us know that the kart had no brakes & it's not a bumper car & "if you want to go more faster, ah just step the pedal more harder la" 😂  (say this in your head with a typical malay accent) Im sry I find this funny, no offence.

& off we go in the first guided round

After a few rounds, I present you my drift stunt 😝  it's called the 360 drift okay, not I gabra.

There was this little boy who thought he was in need for speed or something, speeding like cray, knocking into people like he got their insurance covered 😒  I seriously worry about the day he gets his licence...

Okay moving on, as mentioned earlier, there's also a skating rink & trampoline park (jump street)  here.

Not to forget the high elements that we missed out!

They have 2 sections, an indoor one which is above the karting area & another outdoor one which is nearer to the waterpark. There is a zip line that goes across part of the waterpark too!

Overall:
Waterpark is fun with super short or no queues so we were able to ride all the rides more than once. There are still other slides/features not mentioned in this article but you can check it out on their web here. Toilet is very clean and trust me when I say that cause I'm very particular about public shower cleanliness. I refused to bathe or change out at www's toilet cause it was gross to me. Location wise, very accessible by car/taxi. You can hail a cab from JB sentral for about 30Rm? Service crew were also friendly & warm. Admission price wise was also quite cheap as there's a promotion now (details below). There's also free wifi in the premises 👍🏻

Would I come again? 👉🏼  YES, for the high-e
Did we enjoy ourselves? 👉🏼  yes, which explains a lack of my own photos cause too bz havin fun
It's a pity how quiet this park is, given it's facilities. Totally under-rated! 🌟🌟🌟
