#31 Kampong Lorong Buangkok

7:54 am

So sometime back, I brought kong to Singapore's last surviving kampong to feed his curious mind. &also because I've always brought students there on heritage trails but never step foot in the premises before.

This facade reminds me of those malaysian houses, don't you think so? How old school! & kong was saying he would not survive living here as they have no aircon (I presume)

Another house we passed by

Hi there friendly doggie!

Came across another not-so-friendly dog who was barking fiercely at us...

& ootd cause of the nice surroundings hehe :D

Guess what? we were only there for 20 mins max! Because why?
MOZZIES!!!!
So just a head's up if you're dropping by, prepare insect repellant pls!

Overall, it felt as though we were back in the olden days of Singapore. However, the kampong spirit was....not really there? Everyone was just like in their houses minding their own business unlike in the past. But I'm glad that it's still being preserved till date. Worth a short trip there!

p.s parking can be quite a problem but just park by the road? I guess awhile won't hurt right?
