#19 Forest Adventure

5:03 am

Holaaaa, welcome back to our blog & hi to those who are new. This is gna be quite an interesting post cause it's about FOREST ADVENTURE! Yeap that's right.
If you're looking for some outdoor fun and an adrenaline rush adventure, look no further! This is it. But be warned: it is not for the faint hearted esp those who are acrophobic.

So one fine sunday, we made our way to Bedok in excitement. But the thing is, we were 15 mins late & it was the 2nd last slot of the day :(  We we hoping we could be pushed to the next slot if not we would have made a wasted trip down. The staff told us to wait around while she called up the customers to check if there were any no-shows. After 15-20 mins of waiting (&praying), our places were confirmed. yay!

After getting our tyvek wristbands, we went to deposit our bags & shoes in the locker.

Helmets on!

Hi guys, meet my new boyf Bob. Hahahaha!

After familiarizing ourselves with the equipments with the guidance of an instructor, off we go!

Hi Bob, on your way to fix a treehouse?

Me struggling to ascend the rope ladder. Not as easy as it seems cause sometimes it tends to twist on your way up.
BUT... i found a trick to make the climb easier.
Lean back until your elbows are fully straight & climb like that.
Another tip, there will be a safety line following you whenever you're climbing up, be it rope ladder or not & that line is like a BURDEN! So ask your partner to 'belay' for you if you're going up first & you can return the favor when you're up there.
You're welcome ;)

My scared face haha. cause there was nothing else to hold onto except my safety gear.

Wah i tell youuu, this obstacle was a bitch!

My you-think-this-is-circus-uh face
dont you agree? It reminds you of the circus doesn't it?

Not as easy as it looks cause obviously that's not Bob's profession, HAHA

Finally an easy obstacle

One of the last few obstacles & i must say the MOST thrilling one.
i was scared okay, thats why i took so long to jump. Actually before this there was a 20 second video of my hesitation hahaha :X

macham walking the plank but level 100

Our favourite: the flying fox!!!

pardon my awkward landing pose
cause you will know how difficult a perfect landing is when you try it

grumpygirl93 due to bad landing.
Ugh its so super annoying having so much sand on ur butt!

Happy girl is me when i landed decently well this time :D
Tip: lean back on the ride then use your legs to try to turn till you face forward. & when you're reaching, do a running motion with your legs to prepare you to land on your feet.

Check out how bob did:
Bob dont kill me when you see this :X

Overall it was an awesome experience! The view was great on the flying fox so rmb to enjoy the ride. One thing we liked about the system there was that it's a free & easy, own time own target kind of thing. So you can go at your own comfortable pace. Oh & the staff were really friendly & helpful too.

Hope this post helps & have fun guys!
